Here's our view of Rohan Annersley getting mowed down as we pulled up to the Right last week...It was his second wave and the whole channel just shut down on him. He was towed in by our buddy that flew over for the swell Laurie Towner who was pretty concerned when Rohan didn't pop up. He came to the surface after the 2nd wave and we darted in to help. Rohan was disorientated and really rattled as Loz pulled him up onto the ski. He was white as a gohst and blood started coming out of his nose and ears from the pressure on his head from being pushed so deep under water. The Right is so dangerous, you just get pushed into the deep blue when you wipe out. Rohan said without his floatation vest on he was unlikely to make it to the top. The next day bodyboarder Brad hughes had the same thing happen. The consequences are serious out there. We hope that everyones makes it up when they fall because there is a serious chance of drowning if you fall in the wrong place. Until next time!!!!!!
